During the fall of 2015 I started producing a podcast with my friend Taylor Isham. Because of personal reasons he’s chose to leave the city, and the custody of the Green Room was left to a single father – me. I really appreciate Taylor helping me start the show and letting me keep the name. I hope Taylor starts another podcast because he’s a freak when it comes to music and especially rock and roll history. He’s a great guy and I’m sure he’s going to have a lot of success in the future.

With that being said, I’m very excited to start doing the show on my own and bring the fan(s) a taste of my personality. The format of the Green Room is going to be pretty much the same as Season 1, but Season 2 will have more emphasis on opinion and discussion than the previous season.

“Spenny Speaks” is a segment I’m introducing where every show I designate ten minutes to rant, vent, or simply talk about a pretty bird I saw in a tree. Basically, Spenny Speaks is going to be a random ten minutes throughout the show, and what I’ll rant about who knows.

The rest of the show is going to be me talking, and introducing some interesting tracks to my listeners. Each week has a theme that I will tweet out ahead of time so listeners can send me requests, or set an alarm to ensure they don’t miss this critical moment of their Monday. I play a bit of everything on the Green Room. You’re going to hear Blues, Rock N Roll, Hip Hop, Soul, R&B, and many, many more as I keep coming up with new show themes.

I’m really excited to get back on the air on Monday, January 25. I’m live at 5, but if you miss the live feed from Red River Radio you can find my episodes on SoundCloud by searching The Green Room Podcast, or on Red River Radio.

Cheers.
